All 50 sets of the hangers are just about prepped and ready to weld. With the Thanksgiving sale going on right now it's a little crazy around here. Id say about two weeks the hanger only orders will start shipping out. I'm still working on fine tuning the shackle and cross-member before production starts on those.

So, why would you choose this option instead of just going to a shackle flip?

Ok, so why do shackle flips suck? 1st gens, and a lot of other trucks use traditional righside-up shackles and I haven't heard them complaining or converting to our style of upside down shackles. Legitimately curious here.

i know i'm going back to inverted to get my spring back in proper arch while not lifting the crap out the rear. with the flip, i was running negative arch at ride height. moving the rear of the spring back up will allow me to run a 3" lift spring and only gain a minimal height difference from where i currently am, but my springs will be able to work properly giving me a better overall ride.

in a lot of situations, the limiting factor on our droop is the shocks and leaf pack chosen. with a proper shock and spring setup, you can obtain similar droop results as many with the shackle flip

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
And the frames and suspension systems were designed to use them. To properly make a 2nd or 3rd gen Tacoma use a standard shackle would be cutting off and fabricating new front leaf mounts and having a custom leaf pack made cycled to bump with the proper shackle length. Just flipping them and tossing them on the truck provides more negative results then positive.

Think about the shackle angle of an inverted setup throughout the range of motion. At ride height, the shackle is vertical (or darn close), meaning that as the springs compress, the shackle remains in tension and almost all of the force takes place in the vertical plane. When a wheel droops, the shackle rotates forward, but any upward force encountered will always try to move it back into the vertical position before the springs really start to compress.

When flipped, the shackle is always at an angle. During spring compression, as the shackle moves closer to parallel to the frame, more and more force is directed in the horizontal plane, diminishing the vertical component of the force imparted.

On a vehicle designed for it, traditional shackles perform fine. On a vehicle designed for inverted shackles, flipping them turns into a very complicated game of dynamics to ensure ride quality doesn't suffer.

No it's just going to be a tube crossing between the two I won't have anything built until I get a truck in the shop to fit it on.

Is it going to be straight? Or bent to make it high clearance? Just trying to picture how it’s going to work/look.
