PCd SOS shackle flip with shackles. I'm going to have to look up how much it was. I will be selling for 50% off current retail.
I did the slice and dice on my fenders for 35s. It shouldn't be too bad but I'm sure I will hate the way it looks until I get to feel how much better it rides.

I actually loved my shackle flip with all pro expos but they couldn't handle the weight.

Same. The Dakars were struggling with the topper, high clearance, swingout, and a RTT with an empty bed. I can't wait to run full expo weight with the Deavers.

Now you have me thinking of ordering deavers. These dakars didnt work well with my shackle flip. They need modified to work with hangers. I'm sure any warranty will be voided as soon as I trim them and they are only a few months old.

Two big factors for me was that (1) the Dakars can no longer handle the, basically, the daily weight of just a topper and high clearance swingout and (2) the BAMF hangers were designed to work with the Deaver leaf springs with no modifications.

I'm running Jerry's shock relocation, 12" Kings and I have the BAMF shackles to throw on too when I install the Deavers.

I'm hoping this is the last iteration I need for the rear suspension so I can focus on the front end "rebuild" finally. I've lost track officially of how many times I've reconfigured the rear suspension, but I think I'm somewhere in the ballpark of 5 or 6 times.

Ordered from headstrong. The price on their website is the price you pay; meaning no additional shipping charges or tax.

A local dealer 2 miles away from me, wanted $200 additional and HIGHLY recommended having the leaf springs powdercoated. It would have close to $1500 (no joke) to use the local dealer and then, go back and forth with them to turn down powdercoating. Saved $500 to have them shipped from the west coast in the same amount of time.

I go into it in more details in my thread, but, they are being picked up tomorrow morning from another 4x4 shop.

Get the Deavers. The Dakars even with their AAL
I’d recommend having your truck weighed (a local mulch and gravel place did mine for free on their scale) and give Deaver a call. They did a custom pack for me because I’m over 1000+ lb

Just a reminder for others to always check your hardware before you start tearing things apart.
I'm still a ways out before I get time to install my hangers, but I checked the hardware today we'll ahead of time.
Quantities all look correct but two of the shackle bolts appear too skinny and have coarse thread instead of fine.
I believe the short ones are supposed to go through the bottom shackle mount. If so they are too small.

@JLee am I correct that the short ones should be the same thickness and thread as the longer ones? I can just pick them up at the hardware store, but want to make sure I'm not overlooking something.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

Those are the wrong bolts they should be 9/16th fine thread bolts. I just checked out stock and sure enough they did that with all the bolt packs we have made up.
You would most likely need to order it from the hardware store. I'll get some sent out asap just shoot me an email with your order number.

Send me an email I'll get the correct ones sent out. There could be about 10 people that have the incorrect bolts as they made 15 packs and we have 5 here.

I think we all got the same stuff
    @CharlieCafe @Coop68
    Sealed bags
    IMG_20190828_201533.jpg
    Laid out
IMG_20190828_202639.jpg I have no idea if I put the right nuts with the bolts or not, but the 2 nuts on the long bolts thread but tightly. Not like the nylock nuts that easily thread on to the little bolts.
The 2 shorter long bolts slide in and out of the threaded holes in the hangers (too small)
    IMG_20190828_202805.jpg

Edit: looks like Charlie has 6 of the larger washers where I only have 5.
