grind down the center gusset maybe? or see if someone local wants to trade a HD for a OEM? then order a BAMF when they're ready

Yea the ATO doesnt have an orientation that i can tell. It has that center gusset that works fine with the shackle flip kit but when you invert them (stock setup) the center gusset is hitting the leaf spring. Im scrambling to try and get my truck put back together. Not sure what im going to do yet

if you can't modify the ATO or find an OEM...is there a junkyard that has a 05+ tacoma or an Cherokee XJ (83-01) that you can get a set of shackles off?

I don't see any reason that leaf can't be trimmed a bit until it clears, I would just take a cut off wheel to it and call it a day

Perhaps this is a good option. Ill look. But ill still have to drill out the factory shackles from what it looks like

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
It's very simple to drill the factory shackles. It's a split sleeve in the bushing that fits the 9/16th bolt to the center they are just misaligned ever so slightly so you have to drill it. And the other side is just 10 gauge stamped steel.

Thats good because going from 1/2" to 9/16" with a drill and a bit didnt go so well last night... need a drill press. Ill try and find some factory shackles.

Another observation... the ends of the Dakar springs seem to be different than others I've seen (deaver, all pro, etc). The ends of the main leaf goes straight into the bend. Also the second and third leafs go much further back. Sorry for the crude drawing. For factory shackles this doesn't seem to be a problem but just wanted to point that out.

Also I got my hands on a set of factory shackles. Hopefully have everything buttoned up tonight. I'd like to place an order for your HD shackles when you start putting those together @JLee

They shouldn't be a problem on ours as well they wont have a gusset in the center like the ATO. It will be more like stock but .250" plate.

    ...too much shit to list.

    Some small additions:
Make sure to use anti-seize on the 4 bolts that go through the bushing sleeves.
Deaver uses a 9/16" sleeve and can accept a 9/16" bolt or the factory M13 bolt.
Dakar and OEM leaf packs use a M13 sleeve and a 9/16 bolt will not fit. If you have dakars or OEM, just use the stock bolts you already have and throw the spare 9/16" hardware in your box-o-shit.

    If you have ATO shackles

ATO shackles use 1/2" hardware and sleeves. The sleeves are plenty thick. All you need to do is drill out the sleeve to 9/16" to fit the AT shackle into the BAMF hanger with the 9/16" hardware. Don't use shitty drill bits for this process. Make sure you have a quality bit and use cutting fluid or diff oil to keep the drill bit happy. If it gets hot, let it cool down so you don't ruin the drill bit.
As for the opposite side of the ATO shackle, again this will depend on your leaf pack. Stock packs or Dakar, just use the factory M13 hardware and don't worry about the included 9/16" hardware. For Deaver, you have your option to use the factory M13 hardware, or drill out the holes on the ends of the shackle to 9/16" and use the included 9/16" hardware.

    Deavers with ATO and BAMF:

@JLee is there a reason to use a non-oem shackle either these?

Aftermarket gets rid of the stupid tension bushing that's in the stock shackle.

You can order them with a hanger kit that will be shipping in January. but not as a stand alone item.

I've got a pending order for a hanger, with cross-member. Any chance of adding shackles to that?
