I wish I had pneumatic when I did mine... I have access to them now, and wouldn't mine giving them ago.

No matter how you get them out, it's all just a big pain in the ass.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
It's really not that bad with a plasma both sides in 10min or less.

It's one of those tools that you think you'll never need it until you do, and then you wish you had bought it when you saw it on sale. Now your willing to spend twice as much to get it.

...so i see you have broken leaf..uh what brand was that?..surely not allpoo?
    Deaver stage 3 are next?
you'll get to redo all those bolts, sort of like re-doing this mod, but no grind, no hammer...no need for plasma..
i was just thinking those new leafs i placed with this mod are sagging..and need a re-do, I so don't want to re-do

Such Allpoo Expedition springs. Just look how awesome they are, I just gotta get another set.
    • A higher number of thinner leafs provides a smoother, progressive spring rate compared to fewer, thicker leaves
    • Double “military” wrap provides extra strength for the main leaf
    • “Torque Leaf”, an extra half-leaf at the top of the spring pack, increases anti-wrap properties without hindering travel or ride quality
    • Diamond-cut leaf ends to eliminate stress points which may weaken leafs and lead to premature failure
    • Teflon anti-friction pads between leafs provide smoother flex, lessen spring wear and reduce noise
    • Leafs are shot-peened after forming to relieve stress
    • Every completed spring pack is pre-cycled to their travel extremity for quality control and to reduce the likelihood of initial sag
    • Comprehensive 12-month warranty for non-racing applications when properly installed
    • Sold in Pairs

the lower shackle bolt is not threading into the bolt that is inside the hanger on my bamf hangers. I haven't stripped anything as I have only tried hand tightening and I can not get it to thread. I am scared to use a wrench and strip it. anyone else have this issue? I tried oiling the threads and still no dice. (I am assuming I am using the shorter two bolts that came in the package for this ? Kind of at a stand still until I get figure this out. I hope I didn't get the wrong hardware as I live in Canada and can't afford to wait another 3 weeks. I have lightly tried all 4 bolts into both hangers and no luck so I know it isn't just a problem with one hanger.

Clean the threads with a thread chaser. Good luck with your truck.

Tap the bolt lightly with a hammer as you thread it in.

Ill try it in the morning, I have never had to do that with anything before though, especially not brand new clean hardware.

It just might be i need to just use a wrench but I also feel like it shouldn't be binding it like it is. The bolt barely wants to go into the nut at all. leaning towards the threading is mismatched.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Something doesn’t look right in the picture. Why not just use stock hardware to get it back together until you can get clarification? Did you put a tap into the threaded hole? If it is hard by hand like pictured, then it is sure to screw up those fine thread when trying to thread it through a leaf eyelet.

I don't have a tap/dye set so it isn't that easy. I also can't use stock hardware because the stock hanger is gone and the bamf hanger uses a different design for the lower shackle bolt.

sorry, I still have mine boxed up. Anyway it could possibly be a different bolt instead of the one you are trying to use?
