Their has to be an easier way to install these shackle hangers than cutting the bed sides off

I went with a 1/4 inch below the tail light
We’ll see how it fits this afternoon

    Kool.
    What does the line follow?
Is it so many inches from the top of the fender or along a line that follows the shaped of the fender.
I'm trying to describe I see where you start the cut but how is the line you cut along determined.
I wouldn't think its a line level to the ground.

    She ain't stock anymore.
I think the line would be parallel to the top of the bed.

    My input towards install/parts breakdown
If I did something wrong @JLee can you let me know so I can correct this post
And sorry for the big post

1st I wish I had installed the post for the latch before I installed the bumper, it would have been way easier to get the nut on the backside
    3/4” or a 19mm wrench and socket

I installed he swing arms and had to remove to install the hardware

the externally threaded sleeve goes in and tightened
Then the pin and spring from he bottom and they thread into the top piece

now that the latches are installed
Install swing outs the bolt slides down into hex slot
I used a 27mm, it’s probably standard, but the 27mm fit perfectly for me

Looks really good man! What are the bottom to bolts attached to on the mounting plate to the frame? Is it that little OEM long L shaped bracket? Because i need to get those if that is the case

Correct the bottom holes are the L bracket on the bottom of the frame.
