I must say, I really like those panels! That a great design element. They add a lot of visual interest. It's almost a shame to cover them up. Great cuts too on your bedsides.

    Nice job indeed.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Looks awesome Drew!

The bumpers are all blasted and ready to coat or coating. Were having Oven gremlins for the last few weeks so its a little slower than normal on the powder side as we have to babysit the oven. But we do have a few more 2nd gens about ready to ship out.

We did however overlook one thing on the 3rd Gens.
We made some last minute changes to the main bumper mounting plates to tuck it up a little and completely forgot to check the tail gate when down "all on me" So there is slight contact on the latch pins with the gate down.
    :(
    32668.jpg

Thankfully it was caught by Drew and we were able to contact everyone before they installed their bumpers. The bumpers don't need to change and we can continue coating and packing the completed bumpers. We thought about shaving the latch pins down but we don't like do bandages when we find a issue here. And it would still be too close for my liking and could cause latching issues.

So i'm making a bracket for a horizontal mounted pin and a new 3rd gen swing arm with vertical mounted latches to clear the gate better.
I'm already drafting the parts In Solidworks and I'm not leaving tonight until its done. So this shouldn't add any more time to the current 3rd gen orders just thought I'd be as transparent as I can with this.

I feel slightly lucky and maybe a little entitled as well. Jerry is almost my next door neighbor, literally. It’s awesome to be a friend with this dude.

This quoted post is the exact reason why small businesses are best to work with. They truly care about their product. Jerry owns every mm of design on his products and the attention to detail is there. And, if he misses something, he sets aside the ego crap and goes about making it right. Period. Sometimes, that might mean it makes it harder for him to produce said product, but, rest assured, the end result is without reproach!

this right here is why I switched to BAMF for my rear set up... that kind of attention to detail is what makes a good vendor an outstanding one!
