Ouch... I was afraid of that. How much cheaper is it going to a commercial business with loading dock/fork lift?

    Thanks brother!

These are much easier to get around while camping than the single swing arm.

I have a rear dual swing-out bumper currently and the Spare tire (285-75-17) on an SCS wheel is just so heavy that it shakes the truck, on the right roads and speeds it gets kind of a harmonic resonance and I swear it feels like a toddler kicking the back seat right at my kidneys, a temporary solution has been to ratchet strap the top of the Swingout as tight as I dare to eyes on my load rails but this is only a temporary solution.

I've searched this issue some and folks say this is relatively common with a rear bumper mounted spare, any suggestions?

Anyone experience this on this bumper?

Nearly drove me insane on a 12 hour trip.

This it the first time I've heard of any shaking issues on our bumper. Never have had anyone say they need to strap the swing arm to stop the shaking, nor should anyone have too unless something was broken what's your order number? Is the latch fully engaged.

I hope not it's a shitty one and I would replace it in heartbeat. No one should have to strap the tire to get it to stay still.

Not your bumper, was speaking generally and intentionally leaving the manufacturer's name out. Sorry for the confusion.

Thats unfortunate it should not have to be srapped to hold it still with a 33" tire. A lot of our customers are running 35's with little bounce.

Whatever manufactur it is I hope they take care of you. If not let me know i will. We might not be the lowest cost option but we are one of the best.

I can confirm.. I’m running a spare 35x12.5”. I don’t notice it’s there at all. No shaking, jiggling, or sound at speeds anywhere from 0mph-80mph. (Going over bumps there is some jiggle, but i’m working on a rubber guard to help it out a bit).

Same! More importantly, I wanna know how @lawless was able to get this flip bracket mounted. My holes are 6.5" on-center, where as aftermarket plate holders I'm finding are 8.25, 8, and of course our OEM at 7.5". I really don't want to drill a hole in my brand-new bumper... next to holes it already has...

Also, anybody know what these are for? My buddy and I stood around for about 15 minutes like dumb-and-dumber, scratching our heads. The theory is still they somehow belong to the latching mechanism... some kind of force transfer for lifting up the latch? IDK.

It’s to brace the rear fender after you make the cut. The stock brace attaches to the part of the fender you remove, so these are to maintain some support
