Looks like you're already done but for reference on my 2nd gen...
I cut measuring from the bottom of the tail light, 1/4" down.
Then I drew and cut along a line parallel to the top of the bed.

    Your truck looks great

thanks! its gettin there. Thats pretty much what I did. Once I finally wrapped my head around everything and stopped overthinking it all, I took that same measurement (1/4" from tail light) then recorded that measurement from the cut line to my straight edge that was sitting on the camper surface. I parked the truck in the shop and double checked level side to side and front to back. Used those measurements to transfer the other mark at the wheel arch. then laid tape down as a guide line. Used the Dremel and was able to rest my hand on the bedside to keep it nice and straight. once I did a few passes, I just worked the bottom portion and bent/broke it off clean.

Nevermind. Thought the bed supports screwed into the fender.

I thought about that... Until I realized that it is roughly the same size as the lugs that hold the wheel on.

It's definitely beef. Just wanted to make sure.

One more thing for anyone.. how did y'all mount your Jerry can mount and propane? Maybe I'm missing something.. but doesn't seem like I have all the necessary hardware. Like I'm short a set or something of these washer plates.

You should have three sets of those Stainless plates.

Ahh that's it then. I only have the 2 sets. 2 sets of these..

    PXL_20220105_002355009.MP.jpg

Also.. for mounting the propane mount.. we are able to bolt it to the side of the Jerry Can holder correct? And if so.. then what bolts do I use for that? The standard hex heads seem too long and will protrude into the Jerry can mount.

Got it all sorted for now. Made it work. May need to change some hardware around once the Jerry Can goes in.

Yep totally fine with even 4 bolts on that plate if it were in the corners.

    Will do.

Also, just wanted to give some Credit Jerry.. These things are beautiful. Definitely a lot of design time in them.. and very well thought out. I can appreciate that. It all went together pretty smoothly as well. The occasional PC build up but it happens. Awesome stuff man!
