Anyone have an update on possible release date for the hitch mount bike getup? Just got a Siskiu T8 that wants to ride on the back of my truck.

 

I don't know if there's going to be a release, but I just emailed Jerry directly and he was able to whip one up for me. As long as you aren't in a rush he'll work it in. I need to paint it this weekend and move my tire up to fit it underneath, so I'll report back after I get it installed and try it out. It looks great though and I'm super excited for it since using the hitch extension suuuucks

As @tacomarin said, hit him up directly via email. Definitely the way to roll with swingouts and campers.

 

Got the adjustable bumpers installed. These are awesome and take out all the play. It took me a little while to dial in their position but they're pretty intuitive, and of course are well built.


Also just in case any one else is having the same issue - I had a latch that wasn't always closing completely. I tried cleaning it up and lubing it and it was still intermittent. I got some replacement latches from Jerry and that seems to have resolved the issue.

I was about to start the process to install my rear bumper. I noticed it appears that it did not get fully powder coated and there is some rust forming on the underside where the swingsouts go. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations on what I can do?

 

That looks like the rubber like coating from BAMF, which is not powder coating. BAMF sells a repair kit to recoat scratches, gouges etc.. If this is a new bumper email Jerry and he may send you a kit. You will need to prep the area with a wire wheel then recoat. After sitting in a couple rain storms I have the same issue on quite a few areas. I have the kit but haven't had the time to use it, and some of the areas are really not very accessible.

 

How are people installing their license plate if they don't have a flip down plate? I can't find those ANYWHERE so I need to bolt my license plate directly to the bumper, but the holes do not line up. any suggestions?

 

I ended up with a flip up plate but before that showed up I just attached mine with some self tappers

How and where are people mounting their backup cameras? I have the relocation mount that came with the bumper, I’m just unsure the best location to place it.

Are the flip up lic plate brackets just never going to be made ever again. Why can’t I find this thing anywhere!
