I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
We have cut a few sheets of .090 5052 aluminum. I won't be trying acrylics until after our training in the second week of May.

    I'm cutting .125 5052 tomorrow afternoon.

    Nice man!
We recently got a laser at work but with an old style controller. What a pain!
Thing looks bad ass. If you don't mind me asking, did you have to take a loan out to purchase that thing?

3/4" mild steel 3/8" SS and 3/8" aluminium. The logo did turn out pretty good but I could get it way better if i code it differently.

I am curious how close the knockouts can be (.075 would be perfect not sure slightly larger than 1/16 is enough)...Sending a pm. Thanks @JLee

I may have worded that wrong...Trying to articulate how close each cutout can be to one another.

Trying to minimize issue prior to sending file for test. This machine looks amazing! Great videos.

The beam/Kerf width is 0.008" so .075"should be totally fine. The finer the detail the slower the motion and lower the power needs to be but we can cut just about anything with the right cut condition.

Our laser is a flat bed laser not tube. We have a source for tube laser cutting but it's not cost effective until we get into 100 plus units at a time.

I was wondering if anyone has ever wanted "Raptor Style" grille letters of the Toyota TEQ Logo? Individual cut out letters, not a badge.
