Sounds further away but at least you don’t have that extra weight to ship. I think that’s where it adds up. Let us know when you receive your invoice :fingerscrossed:

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
96" sliders have an extended length fee of $200 dollars. A lot of companies make their sliders short to avoid that fee from the shipping companies. We do not but it does hurt the pocket book.

Same here! Glad I opted to get these powder coated at the last second. Less time they’re not on the truck.

Hopefully I can get these on by end of next week. Planned a snowboard trip thanksgiving weekend and parking is always crammed then checking Tahuya shortly after.

Guess who won’t be getting door dings or rocker panel damage

10 degree with fill plates. I used some bed liner on the fill plates, and then gave it all a 3rd coat of flat black. They are a bit high to be used as steps and if they are muddy you have to watch out when getting out of the truck or it will end up on your pants. I mostly use the fill plate at the kickout to reach in the bed, and boost into the bed.

See my previous post below for some photos:

Should I be worried about this weld or seal it before I throw these on? Just started prepping to paint and noticed this while cleaning. Everywhere else looks solid. This is passenger side very front tube

It’s on the top side, when flipped upside down there’s water coming out. I’m wondering if a thick coat of primer is going to be enough

If you are ready worried about water intrusion you could take it to a local shop and have them fill the gap with a weld, or just fill it with some JB weld before you paint them.

Make sure to have that welded shut. Water intrusion will be an issue down the road especially in PNW. Just missed a weld, happens to the best of us.

I expected much more for the penny I had to pay for these. I understand these things happen but I’m not happy that this wasn’t noticed at any inspection before it left your shop or caught by anybody in the time it took to get to the client. It’s a fairly big gap left unsealed. Yes it’s fixable, that’s not the point.

Don't blame you. I'd be peeved, too. Looks like somebody went back and cleaned the weld up with a grinder... how high did they have to be to not see that gap?
