I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Now that Joe's kickup and fill plates are all done these other ones should start turning red soon. I have the tubes cut and ready for all the sliders on the list. Just bend trim and weld and they are off on a truck.

They are in the works but it's not something I'm just tossing together and I'm pretty backed up at the moment so not much design has been going on. There is a guy on the list now getting bolt on's so when I get to his that's when the bolt on's will be designed I'm still working out the frame plate design.

Well I CNC cut my frame plates so I could just cut holes in the plates for someone to drill the holes in the frames and just bolt them on. My bolt on's will have two larger frame plates you will still have to drill holes in your frame as will most bolt on sliders.

Well are they stronger? Safer? Idk..it seems to me like everyone does weld on and has no problem. But i have talked to a few ppl who say bolt ons are the way to go..

bolt ons are not the way to go!! They can't stand the beating that the weld ons can. Weld on are way stronger (assuming you have them installed by a professional). PLUS, you have to put holes in your freakin frame!! NO Bueno!!

Neither some people just don't want to weld on there frame. Little do they know they need to drill holes in the frame to install them and to me that's worse then welding to the frame. But to each there own Bolt on's that are well designed are just as strong as weld on's.

Putting additional holes (large ones at that) in your frame will definitely compromise the structural integrity. Toyota already hacks out as much material as possible to save on weight, id be scared to carve out any more.

True in theory, but in reality there are tons of hardcore rigs out there with bolt ons. If done right they are just as strong as weld ons. Check out hytenor's rig on TTORA.

Now were getting into 1st Gens I think the U wrap bolt on 1gen style are stronger then weld on sliders. My 1st Gen bolt on's will be that style.
