    Very true

JLee, what would you say the actual fab time would be for a set of your sliders? Im just curious as to how tough these are to work up on average. I've started to play around with the welder and tube bender at work, and it ain't too easy for me yet. Im sure you've got it done tho!

I like the sound of that! So basically just buy some square ubolts that wrap around the frame and bolt horizontally to the slider? Instead of drilling through the frame??

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Oh for a set of 79" non kick sliders I can bust out in about 3 to 4 hours if i did them from start to finish the kickout sliders take about 1.5 hours longer. But I pre cut and notch all my tubes in large groups so assembly is faster for each set.

Oh no you would still drill holes in the frame there is not enough room to go up on top of the frame.

sorry iam a newb at the fab stuff...couldnt you just make it like the nerf bars and steps that bolt on to the holes that are already there? i currently have a nerfbar bolt on steps.. I made no holes just bolt to the holes that are already there.. or is that part just too weak?

I understand these are sliders and are mainly to keep stuff from hitting the cab so my guess is you dont do it that way becuase it wont be as strong? compared to welded on.. Idk I just know i like the design and could make for some good door ding protection.. looks slick and clean

lol nerd bars mount to the body..not the frame. One big hit to sliders or nerd bars on the body and the body will just cave.

Basically, weld on (for now from jerry anyways and most vendors) Is the best way to go.

nerf bars will work..but not for long..

haha its been a while since I installed them boogers on there so i forgot where they were actually bolted on too.. but it makes sence.. weld on probably the most solid way to go..

    thanks for the clarification
