    I use acetone for paint prep it only leaves a residue when you don't use enough.

    Yes you do want to clean up the edges. Plasma cut steel is hardened at the edge and if you don't clean the edge the weld may not penetrate. A angle grinder will do the trick or even a sander.

I'd rather have them built tough and correct than fast :) just wanted to see when I should try to work in a gap into my schedule. Thanks for the great work!
