Just dropped mine off at the powder coater this morning...decided with all the craziness that is my life right now, I wasn't going to find the time to prep and paint them myself anytime soon. Should of just had JLee powder coat them from the beginning.

I'm 100% satisfied with my sliders. They look great and the added protection to my investment is well worth the cost. I had them powder coated local with the crinkle looking coat then brushed on duplicate-coat bed liner to the underside for long term rock chip protection against rust since I spent a lot of time on gravel. Which is also the reason for the fill plates. If you are located in Oregon, I highly recommend Advantage Metal Works & Powder Coating for price, turn around, and most important is customer support. He missed my cutoff by about an hour when I was in town, so he drove the hour and delivered to my door.

I'm kind of regretting not ordering mine with fill plates. Those look great.

Got mine yesterday and bolted them up. I had Jerry take out the flare at the back and they did a great job. Very solid and precise. Here's a couple driveway pics:

I'm impressed! I picked them up and had BAMF do the CMC while I was there. I've never seen such a clean CMC. Looks factory. Really nice guys, great service and I'm really happy with their work. Thanks Jerry!

Still waiting for mine from the powder coater.. .they were supposed to be done last Wednesday, but they had an issue with a bubble in the coating after baking, due to "pin holes in the welds". Owner said the finish was unacceptable and he was going to strip them down and start over. So they should be done sometime middle to end of this week.

Are these the kick out style? How hard are they to install? Do you have to mess with the gas lines or brake lines or whatever those are behind the frame?

Those do have a kick and yes you will have to move some of the lines out of the way to bolt the sliders up. the install with two guys should take no longer then an hour I can install a set myself in 30min.

Thank you for such a quick response Jerry that's why I liked buying my last set from you. How do you move them exactly? Think I'm going to buy a set soon just want to know what I'm walking into.

Finally got mine back from the powder coater yesterday afternoon and was out in the garage until almost midnight last night installing them.

Only hiccup I ran into was the plastic clips that hold the hard brake lines to the frame were so brittle and old that when I bent the lines they just shattered. So I need to replace three of them.IMG_20160412_180449160.jpg IMG_20160412_232740286.jpg IMG_20160412_232631832.jpg

You just bend them by hand. Very easy and quick. Just do it slow a little bit at a time.

It may sound like it but once you get down there and take a look it's really simple and a pretty hard to mess up as long as you take your time.
