I don't even know if mine came with the new coating since my sliders were shipped in the same timeframe they got the process started, but I didn't really mind either way because it's still just a coating on steel. It looks pretty, but not meant to last.

I'd take a Monday off and weekend drive over to BAMF and have him reblast them when he has time. Nice drive through from Utah to the bay.

Got working on mine today. Install went smoothly for the passenger side. I'll hit the driver tomorrow.

I spent two hours on it. But, factor in that it's my first day walking in a month, prep time, and taking my time to make sure it was all right. Could've gone faster for sure, but there was no reason to.

The front bracket is a tough one. Those brake lines are blocking my access. Need a second set of hands.

Other than that, the driver's side went well.

Yeah. I figured it out. Locking pliers with the piece on there and feeling with a finger for the bolt hole ended up being my route, even with Donald Trump hands. By the time my second set of hands showed up, I was all done and just applying the final tightening. Although, those hands came in handy after a bashed the crap out of my thumb.

@JLee - super pleased with how these things went on install, everything lined up perfectly and looked great, and I'm sure will perform great.

Oh really? Link or is it on your web site? I like your bolt on sliders, probably wouldn't have to worry about shipping too, I live in Reno
