I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Unbolt the skid and install the sliders put the skid back on and drill where they land. The sliders are no drill to install but the skids are not you will have to drill a hole in the sliders to install the skids.

That makes sense but have you anyone fit the brace over the slider plates? On my truck with Mobtown transfer case skid, the brace sits flush with the frame. Doesn't look like there is room to sandwich the slider plate between them.

I couldn't tell you on their skids for ours you just stack and drill.

On my RCI skids, the transfer case brace sits on the inside edge of the frame and the BAMF slider sits on the outside. They play nice together and I thought the Mobtown set up was similar to the RCI as far as how the transfer case cross brace mounts to the frame. Do you have both the BAMF sliders and Mobtown skids right now or are you just planning?

Photo below shows BAMF slider edge top and RCI transfer cross brace bottom. If Mobtown mount set up is similar location, you should be good.

Edit: Per this image in the Mobtown vendor area and my image above, it appears the Mobtown mounts just inboard of the frame weld like the RCI. I don’t think you’ll have an issue.

Thanks for your feedback. I don't have any sliders yet and maybe I need a set in my hands to visualize this correctly. In the first post there is a link to the install instructions. There are plate/washers that go into the frame and tx case cross member. Looking at the pictures alone, I couldn't tell if they interfere with the aftermarket tx case skid.

I'll have to find some locals with bolt-on sliders when I'm ready to make my decision. Thanks again for your help.

If you are looking at Mobtown transfer skid, and BAMF sliders, I’m 99% sure you will have no fit issues and no drilling based on how my setup works and based on the fact Mobtown mounts in a very similar way. The weld in both photos is the same weld. I annotated my photos with awesome photoshop skills.

    Mad Photoshop skills!

Looks like it'll clear the front, and I don't mean to drag this on, but don't the bolt on sliders have a plate that bolts from the back side and wedges the frame between?

Yes, you will have to loosen the Mobtown transfer case skid support to get that nut plate into the frame box section, but no drilling. The brake lines on the driver side are a much bigger headache than your Mobtown skid will be.

    They look good!

How much space between the bottom rear door and kick out? Looks like its a tight fit. Would not want the door to scrape the slider when opened after a slider impact.

the doors are about 7/8 from the slider on our 20 degree sliders. If your door hits the slider after a impact you bent your frame or the sliders.

These thangs are BEEFY. Plus I got the DOM outer rail. Like jerry said you’ll probably bend something else before the sliders. And I’m sure the fill plates add a little more strength.

Thanks. Just checking. If I order the sliders custom is it possible to get them powder coated in clear so I can alway see those sexy welds?! Because those welds are dead sexy.
