I ordered the Baxter Remote Oil Filter Adapter and Inverted Remote Oil Filter Reservoir over the weekend. It's an expensive unit, but i'm Looking forward to running Spin on filter up near the front and not having to pull the Skid for an oil change. I'm gonna couple it with an EZ drain valve to make my oil changes a breeze!

FOX 2.5 Coilovers set to 1.5” lift in front, deaver leafs in the rear at 2 inches, 285/75/16 tires, BAMF 1/4 steel skids, cbi high clearance rear bumper. No winching, but I for sure needed a spot on the harder lines. And there are plenty of lines on John Bull that I couldn’t Possibly do with how the rig is set up because clearance. Anyone who has wheeled John Bull will recognize the big tree and the little broken parts guys.

Let me know if you want to hit up some big bear trails, I’m not doing dishpan springs tho.

    Wow, that's badass!
I don't see myself trying that anytime soon, the dclb is just the wrong platform to wheel, especially mostly stock.

Will do, but I'm in a dclb, sliders & 255/85's I'd probably wreck the rear bumper and then some!

I did dishpan in my old pathy on 33x10.5s but broke a link at the beginning of JB. My buddy's truggy-style pathy on 37's walked up JB like it was a driveway.

Yea haha we would be stacking rocks all day, not my idea of a fun day. There are some trails you can do up there stock for sure tho. White mountain, heartbreak ridge but not Pontiac sluice, you could also do Rattlesnake Canyon to heartbreak ridge, possibly Gold mountain on all Easy lines with some spotting and slow going. I save the hard trails for my samurai which i beat ever living hell out of any chance I get.

I vote BAMF all day. I have the steel skids and bolt-on sliders. They are pure beef. Jerry also seem like a great guy and was quick to reply when I had questions. I have zero regrets.

Can confirm the ass dragging. I'll be in the market because apparently I drag mine enough to wire brush, prime, and repaint the bottom of my diff.

Every time I said "yeah it'll be alright"

@blitzkrieg3002 I would love to see this when completed.

As for anyone asking BAMF is a great company. I had several questions and @JLee was more than willing to help me out with a missing part (shipping lost it) and my questions of removing the right equipment for install of my IFS. The skids take an ass beating much like his sliders. I was going back and forth on going a different route but I think I'll get the aluminum mid and trans skid if they are compatible. I'm sure jerry can shed light ?

I had my first oil change done 2k miles ago done at the dealership under warranty and I purposely didn't mention my BAMF skids just to see what they'd say. Called me an hour later to let me know it was ready for pick up. Pretty sure it might not be the case elsewhere but thought I'd share for anyone else curious.

I am running their triology steel skids and sliders (welded). 100% recommend. I also have their gas tank skid I will install here soon.

Can you use a hi-lift jack on these or will they bend? Looking to ditch my steel sliders for aluminum to save some weight, but that is something that I'm worried about.
Edit: quoted the wrong post, but question still stands.
