Yeah, i figured just a small weld would suffice, however id prefer to just do it how you did. Thanks again for the awesome write up. Cant wait to do mine. Fwiw, ive been double pumping my mc for a while ( bled the shit out of it too several times to no avail). so today i had a little time and said to hell with it, ill adjust the rears. Ive never so much as had the drums off in the 11 years ive owned my truck. God damn what a difference that made! I think a sticky should be made to tell people if they think their master is failing to check and adjust their rear brakes accordingly first. Hell of a difference

Stuff and things that make it better.
It's the length of the available pad. Here is the best right up on the differences I have found.

So how do you order pads and rotors for the 13WL upgrade?

I'd like to order from EBC but I'm not sure how to select the pad shape and how to make sure I get the right size rotors. I was just planning to ask for rotors and pads for the 2005 Tundra. I know the diameter and width will be slightly larger than stock. Also I seem to recall that the rotor diameter can vary slightly if you have the TPS system which I don't of course.

    TIA

Yeah, just order pads/rotors/whatever for a 2005 Tundra, and they'll fit the 13WL or WG calipers. I'm not sure about the different rotors, IIRC they should all be 12.6" diameter.

I just ordered EBC Green Stuff pads from Pep Boys, they have 30% off right now, and free shipping over $100. Jump on it.

ThunderOne, I'm about to head down this same path... Any tips on drilling the Banjo fitting? Thanks, JD

When I was doing my Tundra brake upgrade, I ditched the banjo bolt and bought an extended tundra brake line from Solo Motorsports. Screws right in. Give them a call.
