I need help choosing between the two. I also plan on for sure running the URD CAI, URD Y-pipe, and doug thorley long tube headers. I'm leaning more towards the banks. 3-2-1 discuss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The URD setup is one of the highest quality catbacks out there. Mine is 3 years old and still looks brand new. The welds are superd and its 304 stainless construction will never rust. The entire system will outlast the truck. You have a few muffler options too.

if you plan to run it wide open, then I would go with the Turbo muffler to help tame it some. It will still be loud.

URD has awesome customer service as well. Gadget knows his stuff when it comes to toyota performance.

I have the DTLT, stock Y and the URD catback with Turbo muffler and its sounds perfect to me. Nice and throaty when your on the shinny pedal, and fairly quiet when cruising, which is perfect.

On my X-runner I had the URD Catback, Y, and DTLT and you couldnt talk to the person riding in the passenger seat ( the magnaflow muffler instead of the turbo). I sounded mean as hell, but a little much for a DD if you ask me.

The banks is a quality unit. All Stainless steel.
Well built and has a deep sound for a V-6.
I had one and switched to a TRD, little quieter for me.

Make sure you paint the brackets that mount it to the truck because they are not SS and will rust.

by itself.... its minimal and more for sound.

Its more of what you can do with it with other supporting mods. For an F/I truck you have much more potential. You can get that hot air out much more efficiently, which lets you drive up the boost ( or just CFM) and still resist knock.

you wont tell a difference between then on a stock truck, but if you go F/I , you will be surprised how much air you can move through the motor when you open it up.

They both sound good, but my URD is spotless, I love the stainless steel finish. Also they have great customer support, when I ordered I didnt read the part on how does not work on doublecab long beds, and gadget walked me through what to do.

This is my first time hearing both of them back to back. I like the URD and I will upgrading to that when my TRD exhaust needs replacing.

I love my banks and I've had people flag me down while driving to ask me what exhaust I have.
