Barcelona Red with a Topper pics, please...

I'm debating on dropping the $1500 bucks(minimum) for a shell for my '18 Tacoma in Barcelona Red. Looking for pics of this specific color 3rd Gen with toppers. Also like to see pics with the soft toppers. I think Bestop and Softtopper both make them for these trucks. Post your price paid and options the topper has please. Wanna pull the trigger and get one but DAMN they're proud of them! Convince me...

 

i have SofTopper on an OR. love the thing because i couldn't commit to having a hard shell on all the time. i think i paid around 700$ for it. i can't remember.

 

I can switch from the toneau to the softopper in less than 15 minutes. Putting the topper on this weekend to take the dog to the ranch.

 

Looks really good. Think it also looks nice on the OR above as well, kind of matching the wheel flares.

Question, what holds the rear window down?

Couldn't agree more. My last few trucks have either been silver or grey. This Barcelona Red almost looks like liquid! Very deep...

LOVE to find a used one in B/Red. I have found a black one in St Louis for $650, but every body shop around wants $600 and up to paint it. Too close to a new price to jump for me.

 

Zippers on the sides of back flap and a metal bar runs through the bottom of the flap. Ends of bar clip in and held in by snap. Comes with Velcro to attach the bottom edge to the tailgate but I never used it as it isn't needed and I didn't want to stick a strip of Velcro to the tailgate.

 

OP, good thread, been looking for one myself. BR is hard to find used.

 

I'm actually picking up my ARE shell this Friday. I'll post pics once it's installed .

 

I found mine in North Carolina for around $500. I drove from Wisconsin to pick it up. It was a sweet road trip

 

There was one at a dealership in PA not too long ago, long drive from South TX.

 

I like driving cross country. Make a mini vacation out of the trip

Ya, at the time the wife was not totally sold on the idea, she it now but its got to match the Taco...so the hunt continues.
