Barrons reports used car prices are at all time highs

I noticed that when I did the KBB trade in value of my car in march when the stock market collapsed, i got a fair trade in value of $24k on my 2018 OR DCSB with 18k miles. Average time to trade in was 30 days and level of effort was high.

Now that same KBB value is 27k, average time to trade is 1 day, and level of effort is medium. Significant improvement!

 

For fun I checked my blue book, I bought my truck in August 19 and paid 33,800 (sticker was 39k) and private party is around 31,500, trade in is about 28k. My truck has 20k miles already too. Not shabby I suppose, that’s one reason I didn’t get a Ranger, plus the Tacoma is just so good looking and has tons of aftermarket. It’s a no brainer and I’m a huge Ford fan.
