    The fuel tank?

I doubt it’s fuel delivery related, when I was fixing the O rings I’d crank the engine to get fuel in the rail and it seemed to be working fine.

None of that should cause a slow crank issue. I ordered up a new starter.

Yeah ive heard if a fuel pump is failing sometimes if you wack the tank, itll make it kick on. Just a suggestion, remember reading about this when i was having delayed starts. Turns out mine were caused by the check valve in the pump not working well. added a check valve to the fuel line near the filter and that fixed my issues.

Mine were extended 5-7 second cranks before itd fire up after it sat for 2-4 or more hrs

I found out why my starter is dead. I started rotating the crankshaft by hand and I noticed a lot of resistance. The supercharger belt was slipping.

I remove the belt, and the supercharger pulley is completely SEIZED!

I tried rotating it and it wouldn’t budge. I took my wrench out to loosen the pulley and it freed itself, something is in there because I could feel the rotors hitting something. And then after I kept spinning it, the pulley was fine. It spun freely like nothing ever happened.

Something is in there, I don’t know what.

So I guess the supercharger is coming off to verify damages. Damn.

I have a feeling it’s that Teflon coating that was flaking off.

I sort of ported and polished it already. At this point I’m just looking at replacing the rotors.

I'll let you guess why my Supercharger was seized.

Ding ding, I left eight paper towels in the intake runners and forget to remove them when I installed the blower.

Painstakingly extracted then from each intake runner, valve, and some inside the cylinder itself. It works great now. Cylinders 1-4 pictured.

Have to post a real update when I have the time, here is one of the pics I have incomplete. It runs and drives just fine, and it has been for the last month. Been real fun.

Sweet! Glad it runs well and didn't need more work. When you have time please post a vid so we can hear that whine.

It's very very subtle from stock believe it or not. You only notice it at higher power bands, I have reason to believe the truck is confused by all this new air and is retarding the timing as I've been told. The methanol injection I plan to install should help this, but the true power potential will never be reached until I tune it with a piggyback.

I see. I know the 3RZ bottom end is stout so I'm looking forward to seeing you tune this thing to perfection.
