I bet your glad to have the SC project complete(minus menthol). I'm looking forward to seeing some progress on the Relentless DIY front bumper. You still have it and plan to build it right?

Haha man I totally neglect this thread badly. It’s been done for quite some time.

I went to the auto body supply shop yesterday. I’m going to be fixing the peeling clear coat. I bought primer, base coat, and a good clear coat with all the hardeners and reducers. Going to spray it with my HVLP.

Automotive paint is also ridiculously expensive. The other quart of black is Mercedes 040 Black to do a trunk lid.

Finished installing my Speedhut Boost Gauge and my PLX DM6 AFR Gauge with Wideband O2 Simulator too.

Meth Injection is getting finished this week. I made a custom reservoir using a 5-lug Tacoma non cold weather spec unit, but I didn’t end up using it because I lost it, and I ordered a 5 gallon one. The Taco one only holds less than 1.5 gallons.

That came out great Tyler. Any picture of the process? I'm wanting to do a DIY from raw materials and I really like the design.

Unless you’re really patient, and fairly competent at welding I wouldn’t bother haha. Buying that bumper DIY kit is one of the bigger mistakes I’ve made in life. It took me nearly three years to put it on the truck.

I certainly understand that. However I've been a machinist for 25 years and have been doing tig and mig welding on and off for 15. :)

Point being, I really am tired of grinding the welds off haha. All the labor they put into it was worth the $600 I saved.

I appreciate the response. I'm still considering 4xinnovation plate bumper. They make a direct bolt on that resembles Shrockworks.

I like how mine ended up, boy do I hate tube notching though.

Having a bumper gives you an excuse to go buy a winch haha.

Do you do much wheeling? Have considered supercharging my 2.7 eventually to help with hauling stuff and an expo trailer.

Occasionally. I use it more for hauling and towing than I do wheeling.

Supercharger doesn’t make much difference without a good tune on a piggyback or standalone computer.

No, sorry pal. That’s staying on the truck.
