    Hi
my truck is a 2009 double cab. It has trailer hitch and flat light plug in rear. No tow package.

Can I expect to have the plug for a trailer brake control???

    Thanks
    Donald

Just to put some closure to this....

I don't have the pigtail in the glove box that would attach to the brake controller. I DO have the harness plug in the driver's side kick panel that is hooked up to the truck's harness (where the pigtail would be plugged in).

I installed my brake controller today by running my own wires to power the unit and back to the hitch plug. I used the SMALL blue wire in the harness at the plug in the kick panel and everything is working nicely!

Thanks to all the info in the "towing bible". The info I needed was in there, I think it was section 10

    Thanks
    Donald
