Hey folks...I need help!!!....I have a base model 4x4 non TRD or sport...I have the black garbage shocks...I have the chance to buy stock TRD suspension....1. Good idea? 2. Would it give me any lift at all over mine...I.e. a better stance or ride etc?

You would be better off buying something aftermarket unless you are getting them for free.

it is not going to rock your world or lift it. what TRD suspension does is handle the heat from washboard roads a bit better, and they fade less than stock. otherwise think of them as normal shocks with a fancy colored plastic cover to make it look like it is awesome, but they are really just a wee bit above average. so...as indicated...don't pay a lot for them...though better than stock, it is not really much

I replaced the struts and coils on my old 2006 SR5 with some TRD ones I got off the net. They were cheaper than buying new stock ones and had only a few thousand miles on them. Seemed like they did do a better job on the rough roads. That was about it.

    Pretty much stock
uca's are no different, no point in changing them unless you have high miles and need the upper ball joints replaced.

Should the adjustment match like rear shocks or just preference
