The rear view mirror is bigger. I’d use that to dig shit outta your eyes over the tiny little visor mirror but to each their own I suppose

Ok not being funny at all here, maybe just get one of those pocket mirrors (I’m sure they make em in a neutral non-girly color) and keep it in the door or center bin for when ya get crap in your eyes? That way it’s easy, super cheap and just as effective without having to swap an entire visor. I’m all outta ideas after that one

Build the habit of wearing a pair of safety glasses. They will help keep objects out of your eyes.

Got a metal splinter in my eye long time ago. Hurt like he77. Went to the eye doc. He removed the splinter and the "rust ring" that was developing. Wore a patch for a week. After that safety glasses are always worn.

The looks like an accident waiting to happen. Thin metal + car accident + head = good times

    Hello,

I also had this problem. I personally hated not having a visor/sunshade mirror.

I bought 2 of these and like them. Much better than the cheap eBay clip ons IMO.

They are marketed more for makeup but I find they work well and are worth it.

Chicks dig the visor mirrors, it's worth some style points with the primpin set :)

My TRD came with mirrors on the visors which I could care less about but my wife uses them sometimes. The other thing those higher spec sun visors come with is the little slide outs at the end to further block the sun. Living in NM those slide out extensions are a big help with our sun which can be intense at times. My OEM ones are older won't stay up well anymore, I just ordered the pair (Toyota knockoffs) for $53 at Aliexpress.

Magnification is best idea yet, as the OP said "just for when something is in my eye.

Now being my parents: "Mirror, mirror on the visor ... checking while driving is NEVER EVER wiser".

I had the exact same thing happen to me, except it took 2 trips to the eye doctor to remove all the rust from my eye. Now, like you, I wear safety glasses, most of the time anyway o_O
