Hey Rick, your a very good fan. Tampa needs more like you. I'd like to see the park down there filled with home fans more often.

It sure was a long time coming, and I am glad I could be there this time around. It was the best $$ spent. I could have sold my Series tickets ( 2 games) to pay for 2 years of Season Tickets, but what fun would that be?? Can't wait for the parade tomorrow!

Have a great time at the parade. Be safe, there are a lot of whackos going to be there. I went to the parade in '80,:eek:. It was fun but crazy!

Hey Rick Thanks for the Congrats. Way back on 8/2 we both had a post about the Rays and Phillies. Never thought they would be playing in the Series.

Good luck next year. The Rays are in a tough division. Upton is the Real Deal.

They'll be talking about this one for a while. Pitcher handled it with class.

    Yes he did.

"Baseball commissioner Bud Selig is involved in high-level discussions regarding Tigers pitcher Armando Galaragga's near-perfect game and whether anything can and should be done to reverse umpire Jim Joyce's blown call that deprived Galarraga of immortality. Selig will have a statement today, sources said, though it's uncertain whether any ruling will be made today regarding the situation.
The early read is that it probably isn't likely to reverse the call, but MLB powers are considering it.
Joyce's admittedly blown call at first base cost Galarraga a perfect game in his 3-0 victory over the Indians last night.
The missed call has re-raised the issue of expanded instant replay, as well. Selig has in the past been against the expansion of instant replay."

Can you imagine the length of a Red Sox vs. Yankees game? lol

I was at the game last night and it was great to see Ortiz keep hitting these home runs!

I played high school ball with Austin Jackson. He made a sick catch over the shoulder last night right before that blown call.

I'm a Twins fan, and I am pretty pleased with how the season has gone for us so far. There have been a few problems but overall I feel the Twins are a better team overall then last year and have a good shot at contending in the post season this year. Go Twins!

I would also like to congratulate the great Griffey Jr on a excellent career. Thank you for all the memories Jr!

He has they are prob the most unrated team in the AL (he said that at the beginning of the year)
