    I appreciate their lack of motivation to fix the problem. I'm hoping the Rangers can hold on to their lead in the West and actually end the season at the other end of the rankings this year. For the record, I am getting myself ready to sell a kidney to buy the Ranger's World Series tickets.

    Looks like Boston is toast after a split with the Yankees over the weekend. They are basically putting a triple A team out there now. Martinez at first yesterday couldn't get his footing right on a couple of plays. Youk, Pedroia, Beckett, Varitek, Matsuzaka, Ellsbury, Bucholtz, Lowell, Martinez all on disabled list for extended stays. I'm sure I missed a few guys on that list.
