I think you need to stack another one on top to make sure you get the right lift that you want.

Note that the hour it took me to read this included 30 mins of lost time while laughing at the above exchange.

You are right, that isn't f-ing up the geometry enough to be considered a real spacer lift....go big or go home.

A little late...but back in 99 when I first bought my 96 and got involved in offroading .... The only thing available back then to lift your tacoma was Cornbred spacers and the 2" Rancho coil kit. The spacers were all the RAVE back then on TTORA. I had the Roncho kit on my 96 for years. My husband and I installed 20+ coil spacers in the 1st gens over the years. We wheeled with these folks who had the spacers. Surely, it made the ride rough as hell, but these guys were hard core and didn't care. THe only time I saw any problems with having spacers....was when guys tried to stuff spacers in with lift coils (breaks mount on the strut) or when guys were overly abusive while offroading (too fast, hitting bumps hard, etc).

So, I wouldn't necessarily say they're junk. It's a lift on a budget and nothing wrong with them. Spacers help start it all..... and they were HIP once.

Now-a-days, there's soooooooo much more to chose from and lots and lots of stuff available, just depends on how much coin you got and exactly what you're looking for.

Nah he posted a thread saying the H3 got horrible gas mileage (imagine that), and that he wanted an old LR Discovery. It went south from there.
