Maybe if you save up you can afford all of it. But really, think about it... suspension.. front and rear is going to run you anywhere from $600-$2000.. depending on your configuration (just coils, complete coilvers, shocks, springs, etc, etc, etc.)... plus UCAs, plus all the other little shit needed to be done. Then you start looking at tires... bigger tires usually run $200+ each.. for 33s.. then you start reading... damn, stock rims won't let you run 285 without serious rubbing... time for new rims... $500+...

In my case, I needed new rims, cause I wasn't going to pay the dealer stupid money to replace the one alloy that broke and no junk yards in my area had any from a wrecked truck. $500 there w/ shipping. ToyTec Ultimate lift kit, LR UCAs, Wheelers 5-pack leafs + miscellaneous stuff to go with it, I'm in pretty deep. Then I NEEDED new tires, as the ATs that I had were bald... there went another $1000 :)

    Now I need Duratracs.. :D

Yah, I'm just stocking up on coil spacers to fab up that custom 8" bodylift. Just waiting for the "garden" to bloom so I can get more $$$ for modding.

What do you think this is, a spacer free-for-all?

Perhaps the worst type of spacer..... At least coil spacers actually do something.

its supposed to help fuel to air mixture... but i think its a load of crap to be honest... i new quite a few guys who have that and does not help performance at all... makes it sound cool though...

I believe this has been done before. TB spacers do nothing for fuel injected vehicles of any kind. If you had a carbuerated truck, it might help.. but again, not without tuning properly. (Though the older motors are a bit more... backyard mechanic friendly for tuning.. heh)

Actually he is and I believe he "listened" and spent the cash on a true suspension lift (believe he said in another thread that he bought a set of coilovers.)

We flame in good fun.. .for the most part.

Still here on this great forum. True-got flamed-listened and went with toytec coil-overs (they use bilstein 5100 in their setup). by the way throttle body spacers are a big waste-been there done it. Special thanks to noneck180 and kpt always good solid advise from these guys!!!

OK ... I did it .... I just bought Adjustable Front 5100's, WHE Add A Leafs, 1" Blocks with Center Pins, and new U-Bolts.

It's three days before Xmas and my wife is going to KILL me when she finds out!!!! At least they won't arrive until some time in January so I should still have a Merry Christmas :D:D

Gonna have to buy a case of beer, fire up the propane heater, call my friend Tim, and swap these out when they arrive. It should be around -4 degrees Fahrenheit outside in January.

    Can't wait!!!
    Cheers.
