I have a basic 2WD access cab with 2WD and 4 cylinder with automatic.
Had the stock steel wheels with "Mastercraft" brand [I've never heard of them] 215 70R 15 tires. It looks like what we used to call "high water britches!"

I tried to upload the photos but it didn't work - I'll try again.

Then I found a cheap set of base 16" Highlander steel wheels. Got some Kumho 235 70R 16 tires. Looks way better! This wheel / tire combo is about 2.5 or so inches taller than the originals and seem to fill the wheel well much better. They also ride incredibly better. I also painted the center of the Toyota emblem on the hubcap black.
When shopping for my truck I found this one with 58K miles and way less than any Prerunner or 4WD access cab. Now the truck doesn't look quite so awkward and is still not so tall that I can't comfortably shovel stuff out of the bed.

Sorry I didn't make it clear. The set of pictures in the second post is with the 15 inchers and the pics in the third post is with the 16 inchers.

Thanks SC4333 - I did a search earlier on this swap but for some reason either didn't see that post or just overlooked it or I would have posted there.

Thanks also, epa4wd - did the X-Runner wheels you mentioned work out or did you go with something else?

How did this work out? Any problems? Speedo and Odometer ok? I am about to pull the trigger on the same changes on my 08 reg cab.
