what is the difference between 885 and 887's? it looks like .5 inch more of lift. Is that it?

Same spring rate as the 885s just taller so you get full 3" of lift and don't need a half inch spacer.

    Thanks guys for the help

So Im going to go with the 885's with Bilstein 5100s all around and do a AAL in the rear. That should setup me up pretty good with a general grabbers at2's 265/70/17.

Have you considered an aftermarket upper control arm? You don't "need" it, but anybody who has them on their lifted Tacoma will tell you how much they help. If you do a lot of highway driving you might want to budget for them.

No. Throw them away. Get the carrier bearing drop kit though; OME part #FK29 I believe

i went to order my parts through 4 wheel parts and they mentioned ARB doesnt recommend bilstein 5100s with OME 2885 coils? So I just want to confirm with you all that you can and are currently using that setup on your truck

    Thanks

They obviously want people to run their shocks with their coils because they are designed to work in conjunction with each other.

However, do lots of people on here run 5100s and OME coils? Absolutely.

For my own curiosity, what is considered "in spec"?

Honestly, being "in spec" isn't that awesome ESPECIALLY if you're on the lower end of caster and the upper end of camber. I wouldn't even drive a Tacoma with caster less than 2.5* caster. I'm not a fan of highway wandering.

I would like to see your truck after you do this. My truck is pretty close to identical to your's so if I could see your's leveled it would be helpful.

Fox 2.5 w/ resi. HS AAL Pack. Stickers for extra HP.

Have mine at .85 with stock coils. Same ride quality as stock. Don't feel a difference.

Is it a level kit? I did the whole 3" in the front 1" in the rear leveling kit it came out looking pretty sweet.
