Hey everyone, I know this has been asked a million times, but I’m asking again.

I’m in a 2019 SR Access Cab, 265/75/16 tires. I have an ARE topper that I recently removed to get paint matched to the rest of the truck, so it will be back on the truck in a little while.

I notice that the truck rides a lot better with the cap off and sits just a bit higher in the rear (no surprise) and am wondering what I should be looking at for a basic suspension upgrade to support the weight of the shell and give me a better ride all around. The inside of the bed is empty most of the time with the occasional few hundred pounds back there. I’m not really pushing max payload at any given point, but I do tow usually once a month, but keep it under 3000 almost every time.

I’m 99% sold on an Icon AAL and a set of 5100’s all around. The truck is my daily and I don’t really wheel it at the moment, so I’m not looking to do a high lift or spend anymore than I absolutely need to right now, so I think the 1.5” is all I’d need. Any agreeing or opposing thoughts?

    Cheers.
