So, just so I get this right. I want to replace the stock radio from my 2010 with a double din unit.
Am I right that as long as I get the right dash kit, any double din will fit?

The dash kit will allow it to sit in the stock location but you'll need to see about mounting depth. However, when I took my stock HU out there seemed to be plenty of room back there.

It's actually not as deep as you think. My double din unit barely fits

I haven't purchased anything yet. I'll probably stick with a make or model that I've seen on TW, so I know it should fit the depth of the space. I just wanted to make sure I got the basic mounting right. I get that I will need a harness, etc.

You should really use Crutchfield. They have details about mounting depths and they usually throw in the wiring harness for free. If you want to use your steering wheel controls you need to buy an additional device which they can also help you out with.

Still shopping around. Thanks y'all. I've made a note of all the recommendations.
