Next is finishing the a pillars to the frame, so I can make the bottom door bars, which will allow me to make the seat mounts, and put the dash back in

 

Making headway on my cage, gunna start doing the seat mounts tommorow soo I can drive it around again, I still have a few tubes to put in the b pillar section behind the seats, but don't want to do that till the seats are located and head clearances are checked.
Dash is in, the whole cab is dynamated, got the carpet back in, floorboards and kick panels too. Plan is to drive it this weekend

Did you go somewhere to test out how the seats feel? Or just off of measurements?

 

Measurements and asking people, if I was wider these seats would be a smidge tight and go with the wide option, there ain't much room for these as it is if you want to keep the center console, I'm 6'1" about 190 and these fit me perfect34-36 waist

 

Might have to catch a ride with you one day and see how I fit

 

So you do realize that its not going to be fast enough for that cage right?

Gears will help but youre going to need that URD puffer or perhaps a small 80mm turbo

 

Gears and a puffer paired with a heavy foot is why a cage is in my future. I've been getting way too comfortable cruising through trails and trees at 50-60 mph. One mistake and it will be bad

 

Yea, 4.88's are going in it, aluminum skids, ford 9" rear end, that's what's next, motor is too used for a supercharger, maybe when a new engine gets put in down the road.

I can get it goin plenty fast and sideways to warrant the cage lol, trust me

 

I got some headers for it sittin in a box too right now

Oh I know you can get it going good. I remember seeing you at the hungry valley meet a while back when we ran Miller keep trail. You were boogying when you could and were pre home made lt. Seeing your truck then is why I built mine the way that I did
