Any tips? Maybe pre-game some cursing and just cut open my knuckles to get it out of the way?

Oh, ok cool. Found a shop next to my work that does good work on diffs, dropping mine off soon for a regear, then a solid day of install, might as well do the motor mounts while I'm at it, maybe pull the headers as well if Im already down there lol

How'd you do the ABS delete? Pull all the lines and cap off at the box? Or pull the fuse and remove the dash light?

Ok soo my truck was a trd offroad and it's a manual. Manual tranny trucks run a speed sensor off the transfer case so I don't need the sensors for the speedo, and it's a manual so shifting isn't affected either. Also with the trd traction control stuff from factory it uses an electric boosted brake system all combined in the abs module, it's one big unit. I bought the base model vacuum booster and master like how most car brakes are setup, put a T in the front brake lines and that goes to the master, then for the rear I put a proportioning valve and line lock in the cab by my seat and that ties to a single line from the other master port to the rear axle where it then T's off on the axle to each caliper. Thus completely removing that hunk of junk.... I haven't done it yet but will be doing it this coming week.....it will work. As it sits right now all my sensors are disconnected, I drove it a little bit with the whole module unplugged but lost my brake boost cause no electricity lol. It's really pretty simple

Like the a arms? Just p&o 3/16, 2"x.25" DOM for the pivots. Uppers are just 1.25" DOM......no issues yet since I made em.

When I feel like making spindles and a more "race" kit style I'll use 1.5" for the uppers

Thanks, I was curious more specifically the mild steel plating you used. I couldn't ever find anyone saying what exact type of mild they use. I figured they probably just go with whatever HRPO that they can get at the local metal yard. 4130 is pretty far out of my price range. Plus I can only MIG.
