I love that the air shock to hold up your rear hatch is bigger than the shocks on most tacoma's suspension. Made me chuckle. Great video.

Since I recently broke my road rally car... I have a built forged internals arp blah blah with a big turbo attached to it 4 banger thats sitting next to my truck and I've almost talked myself into doing it...motor made 430whp 460ftlbs torque all day long in the car.....is this a dumb idea? It would be really light easy to work on. Attached to a 4l80 with a 2 speed atlas....keep it 4wd

Swap that banging 4 banger into the truck since it makes a shit ton more power than the naturally aspirated 4.0L, and then swap the big ole slow 4.0L into the focus just because

Quite the build thread and fab skills man! Started from the beginning, and towards the end I thought it was looking more and more familiar. Then you posted the Terra video and boom, connection made haha

lost a rear wheel today out in the dirt...sheered all the studs off...must of gotten loose...grenaded the wheel prolly need a new one...was able to bang a few studs outa the opposite hub and put em in the sheered side and get her home off the mountain....all fixable and ill be checkin torque befor every trip from now on.

other than that i did some changes to my front kit recently since i bent a steering knuckle jumpin it a few months ago. put larger uniballs in all the pivots 1.25" ones instead of 1" and the outer steering rod end is now 1.25" as well. trying some different flow rates and pressure combinations with my howe tc pump to dial in optimum feel on the steering... i may offer a kit or at least a comprised list of parts if people are interested in more steering upgrades....truck turns easier than stock with 37's no problem now.

so in short its still goin!
