    And why not make the box just a LITTLE short and exit the port hole out the end? That way you wont need an elbow.

    Update on my Alpine build I built a new box yesterday/today let it sit for a few hours in the sun while I did other things, put the sub in right at dark, put some power to it, and listened to it for a while. This thing sound's sweet at ~250 rms power x-over'ed at 90 hz high and 20 low. At normal listening volume, 20-25 on my Kenwood, it's moving air like my two eight's at full throttle. Sound quality is good but I didn't listen to much other than hip-hop bass heavy song's to hear how it hit. It's rattling somethings in my truck so hard that deadner will be my next venture rather than the amp. I'll just ask santa for that one.
