    I was going to say you must be sick and tired of wrenching by now but looks like ALL the hours of wrenching have finally paid off. :thumbsup: And to tell the truth I like the Turbo sounds with the blowoff much better than the supercharger whining! You and @Torspd should start making kits to convert dead Rotrex supercharger systems to Turbo power. As I’m sure there are many dead Rotrex’s out there. LOL & sad at the same time!

    As for the stainless wire tie tool I looked at Amazon and did some review reading. (when I don’t know crap about something I’m looking for, the only real reason to look at Amazon and to compare prices). But the sad part about some of the reviewers, if you read enough you will figure out most don’t know how to use the tool in the first place. :facepalm:

    That is beauty of converting to a turbo setup if you have the URD kit already. Makes for a fairly easy swap over.

    I was getting that way towards the end of the process lol. It was quite a lot of work, but definitely worth it! I’m a big fan of the turbo noises as well, sounds way better.

    if peoples are interested I would be willing to help. Like Torspd mentioned, it really helps you get a jump start on everything if you already had the urd kit in place

    With all do respect the only thing you are reusing is the intercooler, the charge pipe (that doesn’t fit all that well) with the 5th injector & blow off valve? Oh and the tuning I think? I’m I missing something?

    Just curious / wondering if you could develop the hard parts for a kit and leave the tuning up to the end user / customer? Maybe out source the welding? The first tuner LCE was using was tuning the stock ECU with “Orange Virus”.

    It feels fast to me for sure. The truck is not light, but it feels like it gets up to speed very easily now. I don’t think it’s on par with yours though!

    Haha well the stock rated LUK clutch fought the good fight, but started slipping badly this morning. Mainly when the boost spikes to like 10lbs on throttle tip in. So that was a total of 50 miles since the turbo went on. Today I installed an M-Pact brand clutch off of rock auto. The pressure plate on this has 2200lbs clamping force, but still uses an organic disk, so we’ll see how that goes. It’s supposed to be rated for 100-150% increase in tq capacity.28B3198A-C8FE-49D1-B721-874084FD3E4D.jpg

    10 lbs⁉️ WTF :confused: I thought you said you were going to take it easy like 7 lbs max or something to that effect?
    IDK now but when LCE had the Haltech installed and turned they turned it where I’ve only seen just a tad over 7 lbs now. When I saw over 10 lbs before and honestly that made me a bit nervous. :notsure:

    Yeah i didn’t really want 10 lbs but it literally spools so fast that the wastegate can’t keep up with it haha. If I get on the gas quick it will hit 10-11lbs and then once the waste gate catches up and opens it holds at 7-8 lbs. i have the 5lb spring in it. I may check and see if turbosmart offers a 3lb spring so maybe I can lower it down a little

    Is it possible they put a larger sc pulley on?
