Oh heeerrrooooo! I'm digging the solar panel but my wife would beat me if I bought one and installed it. She is starting to get mad at all the things I am buying and still gonna buy. :anonymous:

Thanks man! Better to ask for forgiveness than permission though right? ;) Lol, sounds like I need a wife to try and keep the mods under control.. It's been getting out of hand lately:oops:

She sounds like a keeper lol!

Reminds me of a quote by kinky friedman.. Someone asked him if he was an advocate for same sex marriage.. His response "I think they have the right to be just as miserable as the rest of us" :p

Fabbed up a license plate bracket for my hitchgate and relocated my license plate light.

    IMG_2685.jpg

Rerouted my wiring from in between my tailgate and ran it through the storage cubby on the driver's side.
Also secured the box that holds my charge controller finally and added a voltmeter to the storage cubby as well. Used a dremel to make an area for it to pop into.

Took the niece and nephew out to garner st. park for a weekend of camping. First few are pics on the way there along hwy 83. Last pic is one taken in the park early one morning. The pictures really don't do this area justice. The hills out here are a site to be seen. Here they are! @ChadsPride

Wired up my auxillary fuse block, circuit breaker, and then wired my fridge to the fuse block. Also continued to clean the spaghetti bowl of wires up in the back of my truck. Its starting to get a little better but theres just a lot going on.. :anonymous:

Pulled the trigger on some firestone ride rite's today to help out with the constant load in the back of the truck. Also should be receiving grease able u-joints tomorrow so replacing those is in the plans for the weekend. Also, will be installing my 2.5 kings w/ RR on the rear today. Will post pics when I finish up after work later today

:headbang: Can't wait to get the kings on! I'd like to do the front too, but still need to research everything a little more since I've never really wrenched on my truck before!

So did you connect the aux battery to start up? or is it just stand alone?

It is a standalone battery. I was considering doing a dual battery setup in the engine bay, but couldn't figure out where I wanted to put it and then decided I'd like to keep it on a separate circuit

Got my rear Kings installed a day or so ago but forgot to take pictures while the wheels were off. Today i switched the FJ wheels i bought onto this truck and i'm headed up to austin later to get a matching spare tire. After installing the new shocks i realized how bad i need to address the sagging leafs i have out back. I will most likely end up adding a 3 leaf progressive aal in addition to the airbags but hoping the firestones get me by until i can get around to it.
