Do you think the flywheel is out of balance or maybe have some chipped or worn teeth?

i personally dont think it's the flywheel, but it has to be that or the pressure plate.. I talked with LCE previously and they said their flywheels come off the CNC precision balanced. They did say that very lightweight flywheels can cause problems, but this one is only about 25-26% lighter than stock. Stock is 27 and i think this ones 21lbs

Been having a hell of a time trying to find one of these. This seller says they have 8 available so i placed an order now from the 4th seller :p

Discontinued by aFe apparently.. This is the best intake i could find for the 4 banger. 10hp and 12ft lbs gains. They (aFe) just revised the intake with their stage 2 version for the 2.7, but the gains are only 5hp and 6ft lbs.. Crossing my fingers this seller actually has some in stock

Well hate to say, but im extremely disappointed in LCE. I am going to be removing their flywheel and clutch plate and replacing it with one from a company that will stand behind their product. I have been having vibrations and rattles since day one of installing their dual comp clutch and lightweight flywheel. I called multiple times within the first couple of months trying to get the issues sorted out with their support techs. Conveniently, none of the 5 or 6 people i spoke with ever made any notes in their customer service system, so they are now denying coverage because my clutch is more than 3 months old and they have no record of me contacting them. They gave me the cold shoulder and basically told me to contact clutchmasters (the manufacturer). When i spoke with them, they stated that i would have to pull the trans, send in the pressure plate, and basically be without a vehicle until they can warranty it. I dont typically get angry, but this has got me pretty upset. Seems like LCE should do something besides tell me there's nothing they can do after i've purchased a grand worth of shit from them

I was considering buying a s/c from them when it came out, but there is no way in hell that's happening now. I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy:(

That sucks mang. It doesn't even sound like you were much of an ass to them... customer service is hard, because you'll always be dealing with disappointed and irate people who have spent a lot of their hard-earned money on the product. If you start a business and can't deal with that, then you shouldn't have started a business. will avoid this company.

Yeah man i was very polite. I am a firm believer that if you're a dick to the ppl trying to help you, that aint gonna get you very far. A real disappointment though. If i didnt like their equal length header, id pull that bish off the truck too. Will probably still pull it off and grind the LCE logo off. Fkn stupid to treat your customers like that.. Have half a mind to write a review on here, but still havent decided if that's worth it..

What a big let down. I would on principle since you gave them several opportunities to make it right.
    1) It may save someone else grief.
    2) you’ll feel better afterwards
    3) slim chance a person in the right position may see it and reach out to you.

I agree completely, i will probably sit down over the next week and write something out. If anything, maybe it'll help someone else who's on the fence about going with LCE

Really disappointed bc i was gonna have LCE build my motor whenever it finally gives. There is no way that's happening now though, ill take it to a local builder, perhaps the one tyler recommended

Man that sucks, sorry your having to deal with it.

I don’t know what they would tell you on yours but Parks Engine in Seguin used to do all the long block work for the IMCA race team I helped. I haven’t been there in 15 years but they used to have some really sharp guys working there.

Im thinking im gonna start by putting my oem flywheel back in after getting it resurfaced. I have a feeling that is the issue after reading a bunch of bimmer and corvette forums. Plus thatll be cheaper than putting in a new clutch

Talked with Napa in kerrville and they can resurface them for 40-60 bucks. Hoping it's an easy fix. Ready to know what the problem is so i can rip LCE a new one on a review
