Battery booster pack

    Do you ever take your truck 4wheeling?

    Had a buddy have an alternator go out and weak battery on a trail. I used the battery pack to restart the truck. Then quickly plugged the cig adapter in to it and was able to drive the truck back in to town.

    Even a new truck could have batt/alt. problems. The lead plates can come loose on rough roads.

    Utard makes a very good point about excessive vibration killing a wet car battery. IMHO,

    Good = Marine, Truck or Folk Lift
    Very Good = Flat Plate AGM or Gel Cell
    Best = Spiral Wound AGM or Super Capacitor

    I haven't gone wheeling yet...... (I don't know of any trails in my area, my truck is stock right now) but i just like to be better off safe, then sorry
