    Love it! Thanks guys. I’m now thinking of two cases under the hood. One on top of the fuse case and the second one over on the passenger side rear. One for air hose and tire gauge and the second one for some tools. The plan is the tool storage will only be used when going on extended trips off road. If things pan out and the tools don’t rust or get too dusty I just may keep them there permanently.

    would like to see the result when you're finished. im thinking this might be useful to move some tools out of the rear seat storage area.

    I’d be careful how much weight is bouncing in the top of the fuse box, I damn sure wouldn’t want any damage there.
    As far as the tools, pack em tight wrapped together in plastic bags. Maybe hit em w WD40, but of course when you need em, oily tools will be a bitch to use.

    maybe go buy some from harbor freight. i wouldnt put my channel lock set in the truck.
