Clean terminals and make sure terminals are tight

Battery terminals tight? Is the vehicle in park? Give the starter a couple taps with a hammer.

I did that. There is a blue light that is flashing beneath the dash left lower side.

    Probably a Fortin remote start...

Yes there is a viper remote system. If I hold my fob key close to the start button and hit the lock button down for 5 seconds there is a long beep and then the truck will start. Once that’s done and I turn off the truck it won’t start again unless I do the same process again.

Holding the fob to the start button is normally a workaround for a dead fob battery.

One time when I changed a car battery and I put the negative terminal on first and then the positive terminal on second and blew ignition relay.

What about the second battery? Are you certain it is fully charged?
