I just installed this AGM made by Johnson Controls two days ago. It was $149.00 at Walmart with no core charge. I figured at almost one-half the cost of some batteries, I’d try it out.

I was also looking at a Duracell AGM and the X2 AGM for 10% off at Batteries Plus Bulbs.

The stock battery was leaking/corroding at the top front seam.

If your under warranty they will replace it. If you go AGM Northstar they are solid running a bunch of stuff.

I never spend a lot on batteries and typically get 5-6 years out of them. WI is a good test environment and as soon as they struggle to turn the motor over below 10 deg they get replaced. I have been getting Road Runner Supreme 72mo batteries up here in the midwest from Fleet Farm for the last 30+ years and had great luck. They stand behind them and pro-rate early failures without question. I don't recall spending over $100.

Autocraft platinum agm 24F batteries are very good batteries and can usually get them online for 20% off and pickup in store at advanced auto parts. Come with 4 year replacement warranty and always been reliable for me

Walmart Platinum with 5 year replacement (24F) for me too. Black Friday for $139.95 with no core, but did tax me.

Umm that I’m not sure about. I don’t think it’s bigger than a group 31. My 24F fits inside the oem battery cage. It is heavy though. Probably 40 lbs if I were guessing

if you’re asking if it comes in a group 31 I think that it does

Costco Interstate. Under $100. It's all a normal weather city truck needs.

Johnson Controls makes the exact same battery for a bunch of brands, that each charge wildly different prices. The Walmart Everstart ones are pretty cheap and have great performance and made by JC.

Project Farm is a great channel- I really like his testing methodologies most of the time.
