Sorry tried searching and could not find exactly what I needed. Coming from Hondas, when you disconnect the battery, if you do not use a code saver device, the radio/gps will lockout and you need a code to activate the radio again.
I was curious if there was anything like this on the the 3rd gen Tacomas. I just had my last "free" service and it's time to add my bed lights, rear lights, horns, usb outlets, and other goodies! Before I start, I wanted to just check if unhooking the battery would lock out anything.
    TIA

Not on my 18, discounted battery twice. No code reset required.

Thank you for the fast response, was planning to wire up at least the horns before the snow storm hits today.

Confirmed. Replaced battery with no radio code issues. Saved stations weren't lost either. Only thing I noticed that was gone was the memory page button on the steering.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I've disconnected battery and pulled H/U many times with no issues. No code required.
