2017 Limited delivered January 11, 2017. OEM battery gave out May 26, 2022. Low mileage, just approaching 19k miles on the truck. Battery has never been charged or jumped, it performed flawlessly until yesterday evening. Headed to Walmart to pick up a replacement this morning.

I hope your walmart battery does better than the ones i bought there in the last 5 years. I've given up with their batteries after having 3 fail...the last one only 11 months. There not what they use to be I had a deka replacement in my tundra...i had it for 11 years, and was still working when i sold the truck. I'll only buy a deka battery from now on.

Lol, he must give a lot of updates on the state of his OEM battery!

OP, get the Wally World Ever Start Maxx battery. Nice solid replacement choice.

That would be an average of approximately 350 a day over the past 8 years since he joined.

    Joined July 22, 2014. 8 years X 365 = 2920 + 2 leap years 2922. Minus 56 days for being May 27th 2022 = 2866 days on TW.
1,000,005 messages in 2866 days averages to 348.9/day.

That's what I got. Actually I left to run over there before all the recommendations came in. It's installed and working... so hopefully it'll last its 3 years. I'm surprised the original gave out on a 90 degree day. I thought I'd be good until the fall. I guess the old battery simply decided "enough is enough" . . . :tumbleweed:

Wanna give this thread a boost? Change the title to add in you have a million posts some how. Make it BOLD.
Something like. TW 1 Million poster battery dies. Or TW junky with over 1 Million posts has dead battery.
With a Million posts you should be able to be creative.

[EDIT] Or with a Million posts. TW may have made you Brain Dead.

Lots of batteries today suck. Just for the hell of i tried one of these cheap econocraft batteries autozone sells for my vintage new holland tractor. If it lasts a few months i'm happy. So far its been 3 months and it perform well. Its made by a battery manufacture i wasn't aware kastar made lead acid auto batteries. They make lithium ion ones, and chargers for for electronic equipment.

You get a free replacement if it dies within a year. Did you get the free replacement on the 11 month death? I assume you are talking about the Walmart Everstart batteries that are made by Johnson Controls?

Batteries don't like the heat though. Where I used to live, batteries would last 3 sometimes 4 years.
