When it had trouble the original time. Was it sitting out in the cold for awhile and were you making shorts trips with the Truck?

The whole time reading this thread. I am thinking I am so glad that I don't have my old Jeep anymore. The Jeeps were known to have charging problems. It didn't help that Chrysler put the Voltage regulator inside the computer of the Jeep. Rather then in the alternator or someplace where you can change it.

it's been parked in the street since I got home from work, so about 9hours.
When I went to move it into the driveway it started fine no problem.
Pulled forward and turned to get parallel to the driveway, then backed in.

After I parked in the driveway and turned it off, got out and realized I was a bit too close to the other car as I couldn't walk between them, so got back in to pull forward a little and thats when it hesitated.

Was basically the same the other time it happened just reverse. Got in to move it so I can get the other car out of the driveway, then went to put it back in and it hesitated to start again.

Both times truck ran for under 1 minute.
So yes it was definitely short cycled. and both times it was around -10C out if not colder.

This thread made me grab my Battery Tender trickle charger for my spare Optima Yellow Top that I have in my storage. You are correct that they are no where near as good as they used to be; but they are still a solid choice. I still prefer Odyssey batteries though.

I ran both in my Acura TSX and I will say even with a hopped up stereo I couldn't kill either one. The Odyssey just seemed to be of higher quality. Or it could be that Optimas are made in Mexico and Odysseys are made in the USA or the UK; which shows how big of a bias I have.

Not sure about there. But for common things like pliers and screw drivers they're roughly the same price as suppliers. Maybe $1-3 more. But for me if I need it I need it that moment. Most suppliers don't keep much in stock for tools and it's a few days to get in. If I blow up a pair at work I likely need them again tomorrow so have to go to home Depot as they always have stock.

For other more specialty thing though way cheaper at suppliers. Nut driver set is about $20 cheaper from suppliers.
Any insulated tools are cheaper from suppliers as well. Mind you home Depot here doesn't really carry much for insulated.

Where I live, there are quite a few suppliers that carry a better selection of Klein tools then Home Depot does.

The suppliers here have a better selection but they're marginally cheaper

So was at the dealer having my tonneau cover fixed with one of the retaining clips that was started at the beginning of feb since they took so long to get it in, and while they were doing it got them to check the battery.

They didn't check levels but did a battery test
    results

    Rated at 582 CCA
    Tested at 677CCA

So according to them the battery is fine, so figures they can't do anything
Guess time will tell, battery is shit anyways and I was planning on doing a swap eventually.
