How long will my battery last if I have it on accessory and just run the radio on low volume?

depends on what the reserve capacity says on it. the sticker up top should tell you 4 things: part number, cranking amps, cold cranking amps, and reserve capacity. not all batteries say the reserve capacity since automotive batteries weren't made to provide reserve capacity. reserve capacity is the job of deep cell batteries.

im going to go off a limb here. our trucks use a 24f battery. im going to assume you bought the 84 (premium series) battery. the part number should say 8424f on the top. the reserve capacity on the 8424f is 130 minutes.

additionally the 7524f battery has a reserve capacity of 110 minutes. and the 6524f battery has an RC of 95 minutes. IF YOU HAVE A GROUP 35 BATTERY. I suggest the next time you replace it you switch it to a 24f since its more powerful. but before you do switch. inspect the battery tray and make sure you can fit a wider battery.

    improved toyota goodness.
i have an optima yellow top in mine out of my old truck (950 CCA 185 min res. time) and i can run the radio with enough volume to be heard over normal work noise with the doors closed windows open for about 5 hr or just slightly over before the truck no longer starts.
the optima yellow top i have is a deep cycle battery so it is made for this type of use.
stock 24f battery i got less than 3 hr before the music started sounding foggy and i shut it off... truck did start after this but only barely.
it will kill a non-deep cycle (ie; standard auto) battery to do this frequently.
